SepNet - Competence Network Sepsis
The mission of the Competence Network Sepsis (SepNet) is to contribute to a reduction of the unacceptably high sepsis mortality rates.
Competence Networks in Medicine are projects funded by the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung) , to form nation-wide disease-based networks between hospitals and research institutes in order to improve the diagnosis and therapy of a specific disease. Such networks allow a more efficient use of resources by bundling of research activities.
